Course Contents:
The lecture covers a variety of topics on data models and query languages, discussing classical as well as recent developments in database research.- Relations: Conjunctive Queries, Query Optimization and Datalog
- Trees: XML, XPath and XQuery
- Graphs: RDF and SPARQL
Necessary Prerequisites:
The key course (Kursvorlesung) 'Databases and Information Systems' or an equivalent Database course.
